How do I add a transaction?
Tap the + button on the transaction screen, enter the amount, select a category, and tap Save. Your transaction will be recorded instantly.
Where is my data stored?
All your data is stored locally on your device. Clink does not use cloud storage or sync data to external servers. Your financial information never leaves your phone.
How do I create a budget?
Go to the Budgets tab and tap "Add Budget". Set your spending limit, choose which categories to include, and select your budget period (weekly, monthly, etc.).
Can I export my data?
Yes. Go to Settings and tap "Export Data" to download your transactions as a CSV file that you can open in any spreadsheet application.
How do I delete a transaction?
Swipe left on any transaction to reveal the delete option, or tap on the transaction to open it and select Delete.
Will I lose my data if I delete the app?
Yes. Since all data is stored locally on your device, uninstalling the app will remove your data. We recommend exporting your data before uninstalling.
Troubleshooting
If you're experiencing issues with Clink, try these steps:
- Make sure you're running the latest version of the app
- Restart the app by closing it completely and reopening
- Restart your device
- Check that your device has sufficient storage space
